The Nigerian Businessman, Aliko Dangote, is thinking of investing in the exploitation of potash and phosphate. He has expressed his wish on August 21st after a meeting with  the President Denis Sassou N’guesso, at Oyo, a locality situated at more than 400 kilometers in the North of Brazzaville.

“We have exchanged on investments. We have invested three hundred and twenty million dollars in cement in Congo” he said, referring to the cement plant of Yamba, in the department of Bouenza.

            According to the Businessman, that factory which annual production capacity is 1.5 million tons, is the biggest of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa.

            In a short time, Dangote Group engaged in the exportation of clinker in  Cameroon. He is also thinking of exporting in Gabon and DRC. “Today, we are thinking of doing great investments in potash, phosphate and if possible ammoniac, like we did in Nigeria. We have confidence in Congo. Those are great industries that will create a lot of employments and exchanges with the outside”, has explained Aliko Dangote.
